Holding On (Colorado High Country #6) —
The Colorado High Country series returns with Conrad and Kenzie's story.

A hero barely holding on…

Harrison Conrad returned to Scarlet Springs from Nepal, the sole survivor of a freak accident on Mt. Everest. Shattered and grieving for his friends, he vows never to climb again and retreats into a bottle of whiskey—until Kenzie Morgan shows up at his door with a tiny puppy asking for his help. He’s the last person in the world she should ask to foster this little furball. He’s barely capable of managing his own life right now, let alone caring for a helpless, adorable, fluffy puppy. But Conrad has always had a thing for Kenzie with her bright smile and sweet curves. One look into her pleading blue eyes, and he can’t say no.

The woman who won’t let him fall…

Kenzie Morgan’s life went to the dogs years ago. A successful search dog trainer and kennel owner, she gets her fill of adventure volunteering for the Rocky Mountain Search & Rescue Team. The only thing missing from her busy life is love. It’s not easy finding Mr. Right in a small mountain town, especially when she’s unwilling to date climbers. She long ago swore never again to fall for a guy who might one day leave her for a rock. When Conrad returns from a climbing trip haunted by the catastrophe that killed his best friend, Kenzie can see he’s hurting and wants to help. She just might have the perfect way to bring him back to the world of the living. But friendship quickly turns into something more—and now she’s risking her heart to heal his.

In ebook and soon in print!

Chat prize winners!

Thank you to everyone who joined in my first-ever spoiler chat. I can't tell you how fun it was to hear your thoughts about Naked Edge and the other I-Team stories and to be able to share the inside experience of writing the book with you.

It moved really fast, so I hope I didn’t miss anything or leave anyone out. I typed and read as fast as I could. If you have questions you want to ask still, please message me through Facebook or Goodreads or send me an e-mail through my Web site's guestbook and I’ll answer as soon as I can.

Remember, we will be doing this again for those who couldn’t make it tonight with the same prizes then, as well. Stay tuned for details!

I want to thank SueZ for helping me to manage certain aspects of the chat, including keeping track of everyone who was there. Because of her, I was able to include everyone who participated in the random drawing for prizes.

And here are the winners:

The signed copy of Naked Edge goes to Beanbag!

The $25 Borders gift card goes to Ann M!

Congratulations!

Everyone who participate in the chat is welcome to a signed bookmark and bookplate for their copy of Naked Edge if you don't already have one. Just send me an email or message me through Facebook or or send me an e-mail with your mailing address, and I'll get them in the mail to you.

Thanks so much for your kind words about the book and for your support. It means so very much to me.

Have a great Sunday!

Pamela, thank you so much for hosting last night's "Chat." It was so much fun to share the evening with such a great group.

Congratulations to the prize winners!

Hi, Debbie — Thanks so much for being a part of it!

Hi, Jen X -- I'm so glad you could make it. And thanks so much! My characters always feel very real to me, so it's great that the feeling reaches you, too.

Hi, Mary G — Thank you! That's so sweet of you to say. I was bummed KristieJ couldn't be there. I really appreciated your sharing your favorite lines from the story. Thanks for being a part of it.

Hey, Beanbag! Thanks for coming to the chat, and don't forget to message me on FB with your address so I can mail you your prize.

I read back through the transcript today, and it made me laugh -- so many comments, cross comments, delayed answers. I DID miss some questions, and I might post those answers on my blog provided they're not too spoiler-y.

You are welcome! :-)

Hi, Oklanannie — You're welcome! Thanks for being there. I enjoyed your thoughts and observations about the story.

I hope to do it again one day.
