Holding On (Colorado High Country #6) —
The Colorado High Country series returns with Conrad and Kenzie's story.

A hero barely holding on…

Harrison Conrad returned to Scarlet Springs from Nepal, the sole survivor of a freak accident on Mt. Everest. Shattered and grieving for his friends, he vows never to climb again and retreats into a bottle of whiskey—until Kenzie Morgan shows up at his door with a tiny puppy asking for his help. He’s the last person in the world she should ask to foster this little furball. He’s barely capable of managing his own life right now, let alone caring for a helpless, adorable, fluffy puppy. But Conrad has always had a thing for Kenzie with her bright smile and sweet curves. One look into her pleading blue eyes, and he can’t say no.

The woman who won’t let him fall…

Kenzie Morgan’s life went to the dogs years ago. A successful search dog trainer and kennel owner, she gets her fill of adventure volunteering for the Rocky Mountain Search & Rescue Team. The only thing missing from her busy life is love. It’s not easy finding Mr. Right in a small mountain town, especially when she’s unwilling to date climbers. She long ago swore never again to fall for a guy who might one day leave her for a rock. When Conrad returns from a climbing trip haunted by the catastrophe that killed his best friend, Kenzie can see he’s hurting and wants to help. She just might have the perfect way to bring him back to the world of the living. But friendship quickly turns into something more—and now she’s risking her heart to heal his.

In ebook and soon in print!

Book Trailer for Unlawful Contact

After much effort, here it finally is! Enjoy!

Many, many thanks to Mike Hupfer of Millennium Productions and to Chris and Libby and Olivia and Gary at the Dog House for their hard work and help in making this a reality.

And doesn't Libby look snaxy? And she didn't even get collagen shots in her lips. Move over, Angelina, Libby can out-lip you any day!

Sorry I've been away, but life has been running at full-throttle lately and I'm the lucky recipient of guests. Joanie is here from Hong Kong and she's been an absolute joy to spend time with. Aimee arrived last night and we had a blast together, all four of us, at Libby's house eating some fine homemade cuisine.

OK, back to work....

I'm so grateful to be able to be here with you PC, we are going to have so much fun!

(As I'm sitting at you kitchen table gulping coffee as fast as I can LOL)

OK, this is so totally weird!!! You're at my house posting on my blog, while I'm at work. I think that's a first!

And, Aimee, my dear, I'm so glad to have you here, too! I hope the coffee is good. Did you use "our" espresso machine?

Is Jones still asleep?

OK, gotta work...

Thanks Debbie H for sending me a notice to get over here!

Hey, Debbie. Thanks! I'm glad you like it. It's my first one so I felt like I had no clue what I was doing. LOL!

Debbie D, I'll be giving some books away between now and April 1. Unfortunately, I can't rush the release date. Don't I wish!

Thanks, Bo. As for the movie thing, that's what I wish for, too! It would be wonderful to have you in my kitchen, too. Right now Aimee, Joanie and I are a bit tipsie drinking wonderful red wine and listening to music and talking. :-)

Thanks, Christie! I can't wait either. I'm really excited to share this story with you all.

Hi, Cheryle, thanks! She does look wonderful, doesn't she? And what a good sport! How many friends would let a strange man in a prison outfit hold a real gun to their heads?

Thanks, everyone. And feel free to post this ANYWHERE you want to! Just let me know and I'll send you the file.

Don't be jealous Ronlyn, just hightail your fanny over here!
PC is the hostess with the mostest *G*
(Do you all like how I just invite folks to PC's house?) Heh

LOL.
Gotta say, if I didn't have small kiddos I'd be there in a heartbeat! As it is, a 4 year old and 7 month old might put a krimp in the party. *G*

But Aimes....when are you headed my direction again??? hmmmmm?????

Well here I am sitting up in P.C's spare room bed at nearly six am with jet lag. Blah! That's not too bad though as I am also here with Marc and Sophie, on my second read of the ARC. *Now I am just showing off, aren't I??*

I hope you all get the chance to meet PC one day as she is so sweet and such a lovely host and I have so enjoyed staying here with her. Talking books and drinking a few glasses of yummy stuff and talking some more.

I remembered to take my camera out of my backpack last night, so she will have piccies for you all soon....well as soon as we find a USB cable that will fit my camera....I left mine in HK. *DOH!*

Just thought I'd let you know that me, Aims and Libbs are making sure our favourite author is having some fun and getting some TLC.

We are off to the mountains today, so should have some lovely photos to share.....when we find the cable!

Joanie xx

Wow! I can't wait for April 1! The anticipation of reading Marc and Sophie's book is intense!

This was a pleasant surprise with the trailer! I loved it. Well done! Congrats to everyone who helped put it together. Great job!

Christie

Hi, Ronlyn, you and your sis sure have a competition going on here. You're caught up in a couple of competitions, aren't you?? ;-)

I hope one day you're in my guestroom, too! It will be too fun!

And, Aimee, I'd have to say you and Joanie are the guests with the bestest. LOL! I haven't done a damn thing except be pampered by the two of you.

Joanie, it's been pure joy having you here. I sure wish you could get turned around. I'm so glad Marc & Sophie are able to keep you company in the wee hours when the rest of us are sleeping. :-)

Can't wait to get up to Breckenridge (actually, we're all packing right now, lol!). And your TLC has meant the world to me. And to my kid. In the car this morning he said to me, "I'm so glad to see that someone loves my mom."

Christie, I'm as excited as anyone else for this book to come out. And thanks so much! i'm so grateful to Mike and Libby and Chris for the hours they put into it.

Have a great day everyone! Photos soon!

What an interesting way to get people interested in reading! Book trailers are like movie trailers, but for books! You can find them all over the internet now, but here is a site that's featuring them on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/booktrailers

This is a great way to promote reading to young, technically savvy adults and teens. This is a great opportunity for authors and the book publishing industry to reach out and show that books are fun!
