Holding On (Colorado High Country #6) —
The Colorado High Country series returns with Conrad and Kenzie's story.
A hero barely holding on…
Harrison Conrad returned to Scarlet Springs from Nepal, the sole survivor of a freak accident on Mt. Everest. Shattered and grieving for his friends, he vows never to climb again and retreats into a bottle of whiskey—until Kenzie Morgan shows up at his door with a tiny puppy asking for his help. He’s the last person in the world she should ask to foster this little furball. He’s barely capable of managing his own life right now, let alone caring for a helpless, adorable, fluffy puppy. But Conrad has always had a thing for Kenzie with her bright smile and sweet curves. One look into her pleading blue eyes, and he can’t say no.
The woman who won’t let him fall…
Kenzie Morgan’s life went to the dogs years ago. A successful search dog trainer and kennel owner, she gets her fill of adventure volunteering for the Rocky Mountain Search & Rescue Team. The only thing missing from her busy life is love. It’s not easy finding Mr. Right in a small mountain town, especially when she’s unwilling to date climbers. She long ago swore never again to fall for a guy who might one day leave her for a rock. When Conrad returns from a climbing trip haunted by the catastrophe that killed his best friend, Kenzie can see he’s hurting and wants to help. She just might have the perfect way to bring him back to the world of the living. But friendship quickly turns into something more—and now she’s risking her heart to heal his.

SEDUCTION GAME Giveaway!
We are just THREE days away from the release of Seduction Game in ebook and audiobook, three days away from you getting Nick and Holly’s story. I can’t wait to share it with you!
For some of you, the wait will end soon. Yesterday, I got a little surprise when FedEx dropped off a box of bound galleys. Those are bound copies of the book without the sexy cover and without the last round of copy edits. Most often, they’re sent to reviewers.
This time, because the print release isn’t until March, my publisher sent them so that I could give away a few print copies in contests. Because snail mail is slow, winners won’t get their copies until after Tuesday’s release date.
Without further ado, let’s give away some autographed galleys!
CONTEST RULES—
1. Comment directly on my blog (pamelaclare.blogspot.com), not Facebook or Goodreads.
2. Tell me your favorite Holly Bradshaw moment in the I-Team series.
3. Leave an email address or twitter name or some way for me to contact you. If you don't, you are ineligible to win because I can’t notify winners via telepathy.
4. Post BEFORE 11:59 Sunday night.
5. Cross your fingers!
7. This contest is open to US readers only due to copyright issues. The edition of the story being given away here is the US edition.
8. Mothers and sisters of the author are ineligible to enter.
9. FIVE winners will be chosen through a contest randomizer.
10. Any blogger who shares the Seduction Game .gif at right by copying the code and posting it on their blog through release week next week, gets entered twice. Just share the link to your blog where the .gif is running.
This is a quick and dirty drawing — Holly would like that — so winners will be announced on MONDAY, and prizes will go out that same day to reach you as soon as the United States Postal Service can get them to you.
Also, take the time now to sign up for my newsletter. It’s the best way to stay on top of all the latest news from Casa Clare. Just follow the link, add your email address, then watch for a confirmation email in your Inbox or spam folder.
Good luck!

I don't have any one particular Holly moment; rather I love any time she's being sassy. Like the end of Marc and Sophie's story when everyone is together and celebrating, she throws in her comments about the guys, and it feels like you're right there and completely understand. I love the brevity she brings, as only she can. cr8zychica@gmail.com
My favorite Holly Bradshaw moment is when she leaves Kara tipsy in a bar with Reece after egging Kara on to ask him about oral sex. LMAO on how she left them to their own devices after starting that conversation!
So many great moments, but I think my favorite was when she showed up at the jail to do Sophie's (I think) hair and makeup.

There are so many great Holly moments, that it's hard to choose just one. But, I'll try ;) One of my favorites is it at the end of HARD EVIDENCE. Holly, along with Sophie, show up at Julian and Tessa's house while Julian, Reece and Will are painting trim. She brings along a lawn chair and sits in the middle of the lawn. Tessa says how nice it is that she's there to help. Holly's response is telling her she's nuts. She's there for the scenery. Love it!

I love the scene where she fixes Sophie's hair and makeup, it may seem superficial but she went out of her way to go to the prison to do a little something to make Sophie feel even just a little better and like herself. Holly has always been my favorite, she's goofy,a bit of a air head, and says the wrong things at times but I've always believed she has always meant well and has a truly good heart.

I love when they are going to watch the guys paint.
I love that she is always trying to get respect from at the paper.

One of my favorite "Holly-isms" is at the end of Unlawful Contact where Natalie and Kara want to know what happened to Sophie while Kat wanted Sophie to rest. Holly said, "To heck with that! Tell us everything--especially any juicy details having to do with that sexy man who caught a bullet for you!"
Proof of her interest in men and sex...

i must admit that i have never read your work Pamela, so i do not have a favorite holly moment. i am entering (under my wife's google acct) in hopes that i will win a hand signed copy of this book. i know exactly what you were going through during this, and i cannot believe you turned this out while you were going through that. you are a true professional and an inspiration.

I have another favorite but this one was the first time I met holly so I chose this one. It is in extreme exposure when holly and Kara trespass on northrup. Holly is so excited to be included in Karas investigation. I feel like we get to see how holly is everyones friend..she's funny and she is confident in herself, but at the same time wants to be part of the group and she looks for ways to do that in every book. She loves danger and processes it in her own way.
I'm really looking forward to this one!!
It's also really cool that sandy gable is her for his wife :)

Hard Evidence, When Sophie and Holly show up at Tessa and Julian's house. "You came to help, Bless your hearts" "Oh no! We're not here to help. Are you nuts?" Holly unfolded her chair in the middle of the lawn and sat. "We're here for the scenery."
Julian grinned."All rightthen, boys- lets work it" ....From below, he thought he heard Holly groan.
jrh3017@aol.com
My favorite Holly moment really has her mainly as a side character. It is in EXTREME EXPOSURE. Since it is book one, the characters are being introduced and their personalities revealed. Holly takes Kara to a hook-up bar to try and get her to loosen up and get back into the "singles groove." The get there and Holly proceeds to abandon her telling her to "Just go up to some guy who turns you on and start talking." Kara does strike up a conversation with someone she had interviewed, but he bought her a drink and went off to someone else. At that point, Holly reappears. She has obviously been keeping an eye on Kara. There dinner conversation gets graphically descriptive with Kara a bit tipsy from three drinks. At that point, the gentleman comes to their table and gets pulled into the conversation about sex. Holly excuses herself to go to the ladies' room, and they next see her passing the window leaving Kara behind. Since Holly was the designated driver, that leaves Kara with no way home, except with the man.
The passage shows Holly's casual attitude towards sex and willingness to push someone else down the same road. She will manipulate and do what she wants.

Love Holly! Love when she and Sophie went to Tessa and Julian's house while the guys were painting and sat her lawn chair in the middle of the yard and when Tessa thought she was there to help she said she wasn't there to help, she was there for the scenery! Fingers crossed!

Holly is so exciting. But she also cares about her friends. I think she proves that in her 'Holly' way by showing up at the jail to do Sophie's hair and make up. Most women, myself included, feel better when we can look our best.
Thanks for the chance! ♡

Don't really know why this stuck with me, but I love that moment when Holly whips out a little bag of cosmetics to give to Tessa . I've always loved sample size items and the idea that she carries an emergency cosmetic kit made me laugh.

When Holly gets Laura jealous by knowing things Laura doesn't and then heaves her exaggerated sigh saying that "all the good ones are always taken."

I think it's definitely when she does Sophie's hair and makeup. She's a good friend and wants to show her what a friend should really be.

I can not get her comment about doing the Orkin man out of my head (I think she brought it up in Laura's book). Every time I see that commercial I automatically think "Really, Holly?" It just makes me laugh every time. The I-Team series is like comfort food of books for me :)

Holly, Looking gorgeous in a Prada blazer and skirt. God, Sophia, what have they done you? Look at the dark circles under your eyes. Holly pulled a small Gucci
bag out of her cleavage. It set the alarm off, I told them it was my underwire bra.
We don't have much time so I am going to do your hair and face.
Sophia, "I love you, Holly." Then Holly conducted cosmetic CPR.
That was a great telling moment, that Holly is a great friend to have in your life.
Pamela, Thank you for writing the books we love to read.
jvslaven at epbfi dot com
I like the other side of Holly, the one one doesn't see much. For example, in Naked Edge, her statement to Matt after the city's finance officer committed suicide. "Sometimes what we do hurts people's feelings or gets them into trouble, but that's not our fault. They're to blame for how they react, not us."
Pure poetry.

The waiting for Holly's book is pure torture.
But, I know it will be worth it for all your readers.
My the I Team live forever.
Thank you!
